LIKE STUMBLING AROUND IN THE DARK.It has been 9 days since I sent an email for hospital authorisation as per the procedure in the brochure you receive when you join this medical aid SCHEME: I HAVE HAD NO RESPONSE! The brochure says the turn around time is 48 hours. (This brochure will be the only communication you are likely to ever have with this medical aid SCHEME). Same with claims- good luck getting your money back let alone get ANY feedback as to how much they actually ' aid' you with.<br> <br> If you have unlimited time and unlimited telephone access- this is the medical aid SCHEME for you! I have never had a wait shorter than 20 min to get through to a less than helpful representative. I am now in my 9th month of pregnancy and it has taken me my ENTIRE pregnancy to get relevant information from this medical aid SCHEME. <br> <br> This medical aid SCHEME will require you to constantly follow up on the phone. I now have to just go into the entire procedure without any idea of what it is actually going to cost me. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS ONE! I cannot wait to change to a proper, helpful medical AID. Must paying consumers always resort to the help of Hello Peter before any action is taken?
