Unfair listing without notice

In 2013 I joined Spectramed and within a month \never used\" I cancelled my membership in writing as requested by them stating reasons for it and everything. I faxed the letter to them as advised and then called in to confirm if it was received, I was told yes and that my cancelation has been accepted, I proceed to ask the consultant if I will be held liable for any cost she said no and that membership has been cancelled with immediate effect. (All calls are recorded so they should have it on record)<br> In 2015 I receive a final demand letter from Ergometrix delivered to the same house address which I have been at for 25 years \"BUT SPECTRAMED COULD NOT REACH ME\", stating I have an outstanding balance of R3958.57 that need to be settled immediately to avoid action. I contacted Hennie via email and telephone to request supporting documents as to where the amount comes from, because he did not have them. He told me if I don't pay the amount in the letter he would go ahead and list me no questions asked. \"They have on record that I cancelled my membership, date and everything but now claim they don't have my cancelation letter\"<br> I am not happy at all!!!! "
