Terrible medical Aid

<p>I can’t handle this anymore. When the best moment in your live is turned to a total stress nightmare. I have spent more money on phoning them to get my OWN MONEY paid back from them. My pregnancy after being with Spectramed for 5years was the worst experience ever. How can they say it is either a normal delivery or a c section if I went in for Normal delivery and it ended in an emergency c section and now they are not willing to pay my money back to me!!!!!! I have been re- submitting phoning and struggling to communicate with them! There is seriously something wrong there. They either don’t have the funds to pay me or the staff is uneducated. I paid the account because I received a letter stating I will be black listed and handed over to the attorneys. I paid the account on their instruction and re submitted once again so that they can pay me back the money after the lady I spoke to told me they have to pay me back my money. SEVEN MONTHS AFTER DELIVERY and I am still struggling with them. THERE IS ALWAYS AN EXCUSE FOR A MANAGER NOT AT THE DESK OR IN A MEETING OR WHAT EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO YOU EVEN HAVE MANAGERS OR TEAM LEADERS THERE???????????????? Fed up beyond words. Fast to take money from your clients and suspend if there is no payment made but not so fast in paying what you are supposed to pay. Ohhhhh and the best part is that I have authorisation for everything. I will never refer anyone to spectramed ever again I will not have anything good to say about Spectramed if this is not sorted out. I will also start looking at changing medicals aids due to this small problem if this was allot of money to pay me back I would have understood if it took long but R3300 is less than my monthly contribution to them. All my doctor’s appointments I had to pay on my own account and then when I submitted them they paid me a Laughing R64.79 back when I had to pay an account of +-R1500.......There is so many bad words that I can use to describe spectramed at this point!!!!!!!!!!!!!</p>
