Spectramed taking advantage of me

In December 2015 I called Spectrameds Accounts Department and required on taking over my account fully as I was unemployed and my mother was paying my medical aid till I started working. My mother defaulted on paying my medical aid since October 2015 to date but I contacted Spectramed in December 2015 after receiving a letter that they were cancelling my account. I advised the consultant that I was now working and would like to take over the payment of my account fully as of January 2016 (I just started working on the 1st of December 2015 however only till the 11th as the company closed for the holidays so I did not receive my fully salary nor did I receive enough to pay my full premium for December). I explained everything to the accounts consultant and she said that it was fine and I could make the payment at the end of January 2016 then I must fax or email through my Proof of Payment and also ask in my email that Spectrmed reinstate my account. I have done all they required but to my dismay last week I was told my account is cancelled. I'm a Type 2 Diabetic with chronic complications and cannot be without my medication. Please assist in sorting out this mess please.
