Should you be considering taking out a medical aid witb spectramed medical scheme you might want to look elsewhere. Im a kidney transplant recipient and dealing with the consultants is a nightmare. Nobody seems to know whats going on , they take chronic funds out of your day to day benefits even after you get all the required authorisation numbers. You cannot speak to any supervisor because the *********** consultants barely know what day of the week it is. They can barely speak english and can be extremely rude. I pay nearly R10 000 per month . Im now sitting with no day to day benefits because of their utter incompetance.
