JOKE OF A MEDICAL AID!

1. I sent in a claim in December 2015 - which, according to my online profile was finalised and payment to me was to be done 31/12/2015. - TO DATE NO REFUND, and no one can say why.<br> <br> 2. I was sent by my Dr to have an MRI scan which the lab called them for an authorization number which was given, and I was told there was a R1500 excess. I could not make it the day I originally booked for but went the next week. THEY ARE NOW REFUSING TO PAY THIS, saying its not part of my option. HOWEVER on the option documents I sent it clearly states I am able to have this done! <br> <br> 3. Mt Dr suggested I have an epidural with a Facet blocker that will stop me from being the in excrutiating pain that I am every single day, its cheaper than having a back op. THEY WONT PAY FOR IT, because it gets done in a theater. They will pay for it if its done in radiology (which is not as safe)<br> <br> For close on 8 years I have been a loyal member to Spectramed, never abusing my medical aid at all. Now that I am in need of medical treatment they are no where to be found!!!
