Incorrect Income Tax Certificate

Mrs L Kruger (Membership number ***)<br> I requested my medical income ta certificate from Spectramed so that I could complete my income tax. I received a certificate that did not reflect the actual expenditures. According to the certificate the medical aid paid ALL my expenditures. This is not true! I was in hospital and had to pay additional fees. I am also on chronic medication for which I have to pay an extra fee at the chemist every month (to the amount of approximately R25 000 for the year). I was declared medically unfit to work in 2005 as I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. I am currently in a wheelchair. But according to the medical tax certificate I am not disabled. After numerous calls to the medical aid I have gotten no response. On 30 July I talked to Melissa, 12 August I talked to Jabo, 18 August I talked to Yolinda and on 25 and 26 August I tried to talk directly to the team leader (who was never available). I am unable to fill in my income tax without this certificate!
