Be sure to lose money using Spectramed

I resigned from Spectramed Medical aid in 2013 and when doing this was told I have to give 30 day notice, but take note they don't pay your claims during this period but you are expected to pay for that month. They claimed R850 back from me that was claimed in the December period, the cool off period. They aslo claimed a payment for the month at that time R4250. I refused to pay based on the moral of the situation and they refused to resolve it. Don't think they let you off, this year they handed me over and I ended up paying R5700 to settle the account after they add charges through Ergometrix another bunch of vultures waiting to grab your hard earned cash. My advice to all of you is don't get caught and use Spectramed as besides all this they don't like to pay any claims, in fact they will look for any excuse to reject your claim, the reason I moved on to Discovery medical aid. Be aware you will not be comfortable when you are sick if you are using SPECTRAMED.
