Authorization problem

I am a farmer who has to go for a spinal operation - 3 levels to be fused. Documents submitted on the 15th of May to Spectramed. Operation scheduled for 28 May. On the 25th med advisor requests a fitness for surgery report - usually only done for patients over 60 and with heart problems. I am 41 years old and apart from my back in perfect health. I live -100km from Pretoria, saw the anaesthetist @ 11:00 in Surgeons rooms - he was busy in theatre, wrote report on surgeons letterhead but stated name of practice, signature and tel no. Submitted report to med advisor. Went to the hospital for admission and waited for auth no. At 17:00 hospital informed us that med aid still busy we have to go home. On the 28th med advisor says they wont accept report if not on correct letterhead, ask anaesthetist to rewrite on own letterhead - submit. Receive auth no on 29th. Only authorized to do 2 levels - NEURO SURGEON is wrong according to med advisor. If you ask to speak to med advisor yourself you get cut off and have to start over. We have been clients since 2007, and pay R7020 p/month for med aid. Why treat us this way? Totally unacceptable!!
