Waiting for better days

recently returned my glasses to Specsavers because the ***** in the arm kept coming loose. This issue has occurred almost once a month since receiving the glasses. Each time I visited the store, the staff were friendly and helpful in temporarily fixing the problem by tightening or replacing the *****.

However, during my last visit, which was more than a month ago, I was informed that photographs of my glasses would be taken and sent away because the glasses were still under guarantee. I was told the matter would be reviewed and that I would receive feedback. Unfortunately, no replacement ***** was fitted at the time, and I left the store without a proper solution.

Since then, I have had to tape the arm of my glasses in order to keep them usable. I have effectively been walking around with taped glasses for over a month. When I phoned the store about two weeks ago to follow up, I was told they had not forgotten about the matter and were still awaiting feedback.

My concern is that by the time feedback is eventually received, the guarantee period may have expired. It is difficult to understand how such a simple issue has taken so long to resolve, particularly when the product is still under guarantee. While the staff have always been polite and professional, the lack of a timely resolution has been very disappointing.

I believe that after-sales service is just as important as the initial sale, and customers should be able to rely on companies to address product issues efficiently, especially when the item is still covered by a guarantee.

Thank you for your response and for assisting in resolving my issue. My son kindly paid for my eye test and glasses, as I would not have been able to afford them myself. Because of this, it has been quite frustrating when the glasses keep breaking, especially as it was not due to any negligence on my part.
I fully understand that replacing multifocal lenses can be expensive, and unfortunately it is not something I would be able to afford. After struggling for years with reading glasses and difficulty seeing or reading properly, these glasses have made a significant difference to me.
Given that my son went out of his way to pay for them, I would never take something like this for granted. I truly appreciate your help and understanding in this matter.

I would like to thank Spec Savers for taking my review serious and making sure I received my new frames. Thank you. My new frames although the exact same for some reason my lenses seem to be weaker than they were
