Unprofessional Service

A week and a half ago I went for my 2-year eye test. I was informed by the optometrist that I need to start looking at multi-focal lenses. I told the optometrist that the chances are good my medical aid will not pay for this and he said the counter personnel will assist me to make sure about this before I make a decision. They did a initial quote on multi-focal where I needed to pay in R1500 approx. I declined the multi-focal and only opted for my normal prescription. After getting home, I realised that Specsavers is running a special promotion that I wasn't informed of whereby, if you purchase a normal frame up to R700, you receive free tested sunglasses. I phoned them back and said I wasn't informed of this. I went back to them to pay for my R700 frames and choose my sunglasses frames. I was called on Friday, 5 Feb and informed my glasses (both pairs) were ready for collection. Went there on Monday only to find that my glasses was indeed multi-focal. I told the lady, that I did not ask for multi-focal as I am not prepared to pay in the extra costs that my medical aid doesn't cover. Was phoned this morning by another lady from Specsavers who needed "clarity" on my prescription, and why have I cancelled my multi-focal when I came to collect? (which wasn't the case, I cancelled this initially with the eye-test) Previously at Specsavers I received glasses without prescripsion lenses and had to send it back. I've been to the opposition before without ANY problems. Above problem on problem on problem just let me realise again, this will be my last time at Specsavers....
