Train your employees

Spec Savers Blue Route: If you know that there are multiple medical aids that require authorisation, please train your employees to do this correctly. I received a phone call to confirm my new medical aid details. I moved from Discovery to CAMAF since I was last at this branch. I mentioned to this lady that I am no longer with Discovery and provided her with the CAMAF details. I told her there is no need to call me back, everything should be fine She calls me back, says she cannot pick me up on the system (whichever system that is). Not sure if she is confused because she keeps on mentioning Discovery. I told her to please CALL CAMAF, as that it what my GP does to confirm benefits. She still maintains she cannot find me on whatever system she is looking on. Just to be clear, I called CAMAF myself after that and they advised that there is nothing wrong with my medical aid. To add, I told your staff to please call CAMAF, to which I don't think she did or even tried to call and is insisting on a letter, whereby she still continues to talk about Discovery. I literally just told her to cancel the appointment I'll go somewhere else.
