Tint doesnt equal lens enhancement???

There's a current winter promotion whereby u get a frame up to R1500 OR free lens enhancements to the value of R1500. So my dad went yesterday on the 04/05/2015 and had an eye test, and chose a frame also. He added tint and was given an invoice reflecting zero balance and told there's no charge.

Today he gets called and was told that he needed to pay R1400 as the tint is not covered. No where in the fine print have I read that this deal is excluded from medical scheme packages.

Additionally he chose a frame that was 'free' on the Boncap option.

So well done SpecSavers for robbing a pensioner!!!
