They broke my glasses - stay away from Spec Savers

On 08/03/2021 I went to Spec Savers The Glen to get my spectacles adjusted as they were lose after having them for more or less 2 years. I gave them my glasses and a few minutes later, they were returned to me broken. The frame had been broken and the left lense completely fell off. They then proceeded to show me the disclaimer that everything was done at my own risk and that they are not liable. What makes me angry is that gave false utterances saying that my glasses were already going to break and this is completely untrue. I am convinced that they DELIBERATELY broke my glasses. They were returned to me with fatigue marks. Clear, multiple marks showing that they bent the frame in order to break them! They then proceeded to tell me that I had I insurance. I had to pay over R1000 to get new frames. I don't think there is anything they can do for me but I just want to warn everyone else out there. Stay away from Specsavers if you want to adjust your frames. Personally, they will never get business from me again. They are not an honest company. Absolutely no values.
