Spend over 10k on glasses go on holiday and told they cannot correct anything after 7 days

Firstly when I book an appointment I don’t expect to wait.

Secondly I collected my glasses then went on holiday. After spending many thousands when I got to my holiday home the glasses just slipped off my face.

I had to buy a cheap pair from clicks. When I went to show them today at the Vincent park branch I was treated with indifference. And was told they could have helped if it was in 7 days. But I was away. I have my flight details to show I left immediately
