Specsavers mall of Africa is a ****

I've had the worst experience with Specsavers at Mall of Africa. Eye tests were taken about four weeks ago for myself, my son and daughter. Glasses were suggested by the optometrist and we chose frames. My son's glasses came out fine with no complaints but from the day we collected these my daughter complained about the bluryness and was not happy. So the lady who was at the till asked us to try them for two weeks and come back should there be more concerns. My daughter couldn't even finish the week and got constant headaches too. I then stopped forcing her to wear them and returned them to the store that weekend. The lady who helped us choose frames was there and didn't even look at us in the eye, but when she heard that I was returning the glasses. She started giving the young trainee an attitude in front of us asking her to confirm what process we should now follow. I should have seen from there that I made a bad choice going there. I complained and got another appointment for my daughter to do the second test on that next weekend. Apparently as per Marlize who was the second optometrist which saw my daughter said the same results came back up and that Violet would need to wear the glasses more and in two weeks again if there were concerns to reach out to her. When she was calling to get an update during the week my daughter was really trying her best to keep them on but finally she said she's sorry she wasted money but she still cannot see with these glasses. I reached out to Marlize yesterday as per her instructions, now she wants to do some eye drops procedure with my daughter. My goodness me, why can't Specsavers fix their mistakes give us glasses which have a lense which my daughter can see with instead of sending us from pillar to post. I wonder if i was a white person would I be treated the same way. I don't think so. I want Specsavers to give us glasses which my medical aid paid for with the right lense and no other procedures done on my child. This is a warning to all who visit this store, Specsavers made a mistake which they are now denying to rectify. Do not go to this shop no matter how desperate you are. I will also be reporting this to Discovery to complain about this claim.
