Spec-Savers - what a sham!!!!!!!!
I attempted to book an online appointment for my 11 year old son on their "Kids Right to Good Sight" campaign. What a sham!!!!!!!! No appointments available at a specific store for my child only, but when I add myself to the appointment at full rate then appointments become available without any waiting periods. And this farce is then chalked off as popular and in high demand and subject to availability. If appointments were subject to availability then why become available from an alleged "booked appointment" when its suppose to be free for my kid..... to suddenly available when another appointee pays FULL price.
These companies lure their prospective clients in just to de***** and mislead them. I will not use a company that plays this hard and fast with their ethics.
Regarding the kid's right to good sight appointments. All appointments for our kid's program can only be done online and within an 8 week period. These appointments are subject to availability and due to the high demand of this offer these timeslots fills up quickly. You will need to visit the Spec-Savers website at a later stage to check when the next available time slots open up. If you are unable to wait for an appointment. You do have an option to pay for the eye test which is R549 and your child will still receive the single vision lenses and frame (out of our kiddies range) for free.
