SPEC-SAVERS PHOENIX PLAZA!!!!WORST SERVICE EVER
<p>on the 26th of april i called spec savers in the phoenix plaza to make a booking for my sister.NOMUSA who asnwered the call said she cound not take the booking because they were in the middle of stock take and that she would call me back later that day which of course DIDNT HAPPEN.i then called back again on the 28th of april and spoke to NADIA and she had made a booking for the 1st of may which was that coming sunday.on the 1st of may we went to the branch and the first thing was that they couldnt find the booking for us then SUHAIBA said because we were 15minutes late we have to wait till the optometrist is available.at this point i was already annoyed but didnt say anything. SLUNGILE the optometrist that day was free at that time and still made us wait another 20minutes before actually taking my sister in for the eye test.surpisingly so the eye test took mere four minutes and i didnt think much of it because she is the expert after all.after we were done we were waiting to use my card as payment when another woman walked in.her name from what i know was MRS PAUL.she was double booked with another patient who walked in not long after SUHAIBA said that MRS PAUL'S booking was for 2.30pm instead of 12 noon.instead of apologising to here SUHAIBA has a habit of talking down to a customer/patient.MRS PAUL asked SLUNGILE if she could help her in viewing some glasses and SLUNGILE refused saying she is just TEMPING there .MRS PAUL GOT so frustrated that she said she was taking her business elsewhere and walked out of the store.anyway we paid for everything and left.after picking the glasses up some days later my sister kept complaining about severe migraines which was unusual for her.i called the branch and spoke to SUHAIBA who said it was normal when a script changes the person needs to get used to the new glasses. i said it was ok that was it.after over another week or so after that call the migraines continued and i called the branch back and asked for the optometrist who that day was RAKSHA. i explained to her that i think something is wrong with the glasses and that i wanted it to be checked out.she agreed ,but could only make another official appointment TWO WEEKS from that day. at this point i had already experienced enough ****py service from this branch and just agreed.on the 5th of june we went back to the branch for that retest.after the eye test was done the optometrist RAKSHA agreed that there was a mistake and the script was a huge different from the original glasses that we were given.i asked what they were going to do about it and she simply said they were sorry which was a half baked excuse.it costed us alot of money to go back and forth to the branch.they have a delivery service which being employed there they should have offered to deliver the correct pair of glasses to us.but nothing.i have actually reported this case to the HPCSA (health profession council of south africa) because if SLUNGILE had tested a childs eyes that day she would have ******ed up his sight because a child would not openly know the difference and well them being professional and s****ed they should know better.a simple mistake could cost someone more that just a meek "we are sorry".their entire staff needs to be sacked and revamped because clearly they do not know what customer service is at all. absolutely awful.</p>
