Spec-Savers over-charged me..

I'm a student at UCT. I went to Spec-Savers at Cavendish Square for an eye test. I needed to change my lenses, so I told them I'd like to keep my existing frames and just pay for the lenses. First of all, they insisted I look at new frames because of a student promotion they had going on and I asked them how much my total would come to with the student promotion and with my medical aid respectively. The consultant assisting me told me that with medical aid my total would come to 2.7k and with the student promotion it would be 1.7k provided I get new frames, so naturally I chose the lower amount. He printed out the student deal promotion quote, but he did not show me the medical aid quotation or print it out. He did not even give all the information pertaining to the student deal such as the fact that the eye test is not for free like it would have been with medical aid. Secondly, I went back the following day because my quotation did not make sense and I sat down with a different consultant (the one who helped me initially was not around) to clarify the terms and conditions for both quotations and SHE EVEN SAID THAT HE OVER-CHARGED ME AND THAT HIS QUOTATION DID NOT MAKE SENSE. Her manager told her to tell me that I should speak with the first consultant the following day. She did not do anything to resolve the issue. Now I am a student with tests every other week on campus, I already came TWICE to them and now I had to go back AGAIN, and these people had the audacity to over-charge a STUDENT. I am unemployed and living on a budget. They kept out details for the promotion, and they over-charged me and told me to come back another day. Is this how you treat a student half your age??
