Spec-savers Medicross Midrand horrible service, for free kids glasses

Spec-savers Medicross Carlswald has poor service. I booked my 8 year old son an appointment and was told I should go to an ophthalmologist for a script as they cannot get it right. I then brought the script to them and was told my son cannot qualify for free glasses because her his script is above a -3ds. His on -5,5 and -6,5. I asked why they said the spec-savour does not give free spectacles to kids with worse eyes like mine.

I am very disappointed they made me pay R1 297.00 which I wasn’t prepared for as they kept on telling me that I spent money on the ophthalmologist why can’t I spend at them as well. And it’s them who gave me a transfer letter for the eye specialist had to spend a lot of money just to get the free glasses.
