Spec Savers gave me damaged goods in 2013
Back in 2013 I went to change my glasses with Spec Save lake side mall. My medical aid paid and there was a shor fall of 750. When I sent my wife to go collect my glasses they told her the glasses are not good and they will replace them and give me new ones. We waited for their call and to my surprise I found out that they have went to court and filled a case of none payment. I'm still waiting for their call to give me new glasses but they have filled a case and I have noticed a judgement against me on my credit report.

Thank you very much for bringing the matter to our attention.
I have addressed your complaint with the store.
According to our records your specs were made in December 2012.
There was a patient portion of R1507 - which you paid R700, and R807 was to be paid on collection.
There was apparently something wrong with the frame you chose, the store ordered a new frame and the lenses were to be transferred to the new frame.
From the stores notes, the store called you 4 times between 18 and 20 March called again on 26/3 with no luck - MTN sent a message.
The first letter of notification was sent to you on 30 April 2013, 3 letters were sent to you and the judgment was granted on the 19th Sept 2013.
Throughout the whole process your replacement frame was at the store for you to collect.
Should you require any further assistance regarding the matter, please contact Spec-Savers Benoni Lakeside, Nick or Sandy will gladly assist you.
Kind Regards
