Spec-Savers at Southgate misleads people.

Spec-savers had a promotion of " Kids Right to Good Sight" . I have been charged R499 for compressing my son's spectacles. After 2 years of being charged that amount this year I am expected to pay R1480+ at Southgate Branch. When I ask why so much difference I am told that Spec-savers prices have gone up & they are now charging to compress both lens, which I was never even notified about that. The manager "Tebogo: says by accepting the OTP that was sent to my phone on that day means I have accepted the charged price.

I spoke with Keegan when I phoned the head office to voice my concerns. I told him what had happened. He set up a conference call with Southgate, and Lungile questioned me why I hadn't complained to them about the ridiculous price increase, which I had. Then Lungile added, "But you gave them the OTP number you got on your phone . That means you accepted that price." I was not informed by Southgate that giving them the OTP number obligates me to pay the amount I am charged. I was just asked to provide them with the OTP that was delivered to my phone.
