I went for eye test at Maluti Specsavers in August this year, my medical aid covered the lense and since they were running the winter promotion of a free frame to the value of 1500, I topped up with 100 because my frame was 1600. Since I requested climate change, I had to pay an additional 1300. When the glasses came back in September, I realized they didn't adjust to sun rays and I returned them. They were taken for a good 3 weeks and when I went back to enquire about them they told me they had not been processed and the fault was with the lab in Bloemfontein but I can return them after writing my exams. I did return the glasses on November 16th and I was told they would be back in a week's time. I went to their shop on November 29th and told them I would be going back home (Lesotho) for the holidays so I need to know if I'm getting the glasses back or not. I was told the lab people had brought the glasses back but with a wrong prescription so they had to be sent back. I called on 6th December to try and inform them that I would be leaving SA but the landline kept disconnecting. I emailed to enquire about the progress but to this day I still have no idea as to whether they have really been sent back or not. This is very frustrating.
