Poor Service and False Adverti*****t

I recently visited Spec Savers Welkom. This was my experience in the branch; 1. I told the optometrist that there is a foreign body in my left eye and requested her to check what it is. She told.me there is nothing in my eye. I later went to my GP and he removed a piece of iron of my cornea. How could she not have seen it with her machines? 2. I was informed that they currently have a special if you buy your prescription spectacles from them, your prescription sunglasses is for free. When I received my invoice, I was billed for the sunglasses. 3. When I ordered the spectacles, I requested if the spectacles will be ready for collection before I go on holiday and I was told that will be ready long before the 19 days left. On day 16 I visited the store to find the prescription spectacles already at the store and my sunglasses still at their lab. This spectacles frame was broken and the store assistant told me to take the spectacles like that and use it while they order me a new frame. I asked her if the lense fell out who would be responsible to replace that lense and told her that I will not be taking the broken spectacles. 4. When I arrived home, I contacted Spec Savers Head Office and was told this was unacceptable and they will investigate the matter and give me feedback the same day. It is now three days later and still no feedback received as promised. This is very unprofessional and poor service for the almost R12 000 I spend on the two spectacles.
