Poor communication and Unexplained Delays

This communication serves to inform you of the poor service received from your Ni City branch in Cape Town. My husband went for his eye test mid December and received no feedback as to the progress of his spectacles. Upon receipt of the medical aid claim, I queried the matter, this after two weeks of no communication from the branch. I was then informed that the spectacles were ready but not the sunglasses which had already been claimed for and paid. The matter was then left with the staff of the branch that they inform us when both the spectacles and sunglasses were ready for collection as we do not live close by and preferred not to make the same trip twice. A pathetic 6 weeks after the initial consult, I queried the master once more, only to be told that the sunglasses were at the branches and that no one had bothered to take the time out to let me know this fact. This type of service is completely unacceptable considering that I have been a client for over 2 decades and gave now brought my husband and daughter to Spec savers.
