Pathetic spec savers mall@ reds

Pathetic service from Spec savers Mall @reds. I always order my 13 year old daughters contact lenses at this spec savers as well as her glasses. I called last week to reorder them as I usually do. I have medical aid with discovery which is stated on my profile with them as well. On 31st July- Saturday- we went to collect it. I sent my daughter in. Am Indian lady at the front desk told my daughter she had to pay for it- so my daughter rep****- no it’s medical aid- the lady said: sorry there is no note here and you not covered for this. As my child did not know- she gave my card to the lady and charged it. My daughter called me saying she made me pay for it. I went in the store and told the lady it was medical aid- she screamed and said- oh it’s your daughters fault - how does an adult let a 13 year old child pay R1575 without adult supervision on a card that doesn’t even belong to her. At no point did the rude Indian lady tell my daughter - call your mom- let me clarify with her. Now I’m stuck with all this admin between myself and the medical aid.
