Outrageous Price Hike on BioTrue Solution – No Explanation Given”

Being a client, I am extremely concerned and dissatisfied with the pricing at Specsavers Chatsworth Centre. Within one week in March 2026, the price of the BioTrue Multi-Purpose Solution 300 ml increased from R169.00 to R283.00, an outrageous 68% price jump with no explanation. What makes this even worse is that a twin pack of the exact same product is being sold for R277.47, which means Specsavers is charging more for one bottle than many retailers charge for two. There were two bottles available the previous week , which strongly suggests this is not new stock. This raises serious questions about the justification for such a drastic increase. This pricing is unreasonable, exploitative, and completely out of line with normal market prices. Customers should not be subjected to such inflated and unjustifiable price practices.
