No options - lies about options and expensive as hell...

What a rip-off on top of the bad service. I tried to phone twice to sort out the issue, but I keep getting told that the number does not exist. The eye test and everything went well up to the point where I had to choose frames. I have no medical aid and have to save up to pay cash because not everybody can afford medical aid. I explicitly told the optometrist that I wanted narrower glasses because with multifocals I have to bend my head too far back to see the computer screen, which resulted in headaches. There were absolutely NO options available - when I confronted them about the limited options I was told that because of their special, everybody came for new glasses - which is ******* because the special has been ongoing for years. When I chose a pair, I was told it was not part of the special - I had to choose from the more expensive pairs (obviously to make up for the so-called free pair). When I insisted on narrower glasses, the optometrist gave me all kinds of reasons why I could not have them too narrow because it would limit my view - so I went online and according to professionals, the lowest you can go is between 28 - 30mm. He even gave me this advice for a single-vision pair. Now I have to sit with glasses that look like sliding doors that have cost me a hell of a lot of money for cheap plastic and bad service.
