Money Making Scheme

Last month my brother needed to have eye test so i gave him my card and ID to take to Spec Savers Southgate.

he was told he cant be assisted as he is not the account holder. i told him i can write a letter for him to take with however the coloured guy who helped him said i have to personally be there. This also as i saw Edgard had special for R1500 discount. we then made the appointment for 3 weeks after he had been to them as thats when i was available. he went ther on saturday the 7th of october and i went with him. I was never required to sign ANY documents ohnly my brother although it was my card. i then asked the lady who assited why they then insisted i come as well if they dont need me and she said i could have sent my card, ID and letter if i didnt wanna go. we told her weeks back my brother was told its impossible to use my card without me there hence i came. when we told her it was the short cloured guy who helped she said the guy was new and still training. My brother said the guy actually went to the back to ask about the letter and when he got back he said still not allowed. She also told me i wont qualifyfor the discount anymore as the special ended end of September. Now i lost out on a R1500 saving due to incorrent info given by Spec savers emplyees. instead of paying half the bill im now going to pay R2500. how fair is this. Is this how Spec savers make their monye by giving wrong info so people pay full amount. Had my brother been given correct info i wouldnt be stuck with this right now. I am so ****ed its not funny. Someone at head office needs to understand why they dont train their people properly then customers are left with egg on their face. this is not small change and i expect answers. this was just an Edgars special so i wonder how many other people were ********** as well. Never in my entire life will you see me going back to spec savers. Worse part my entire family uses them regardless of branch although we use medical aid. but i would rather go to a company thats not gonna ***** me to make a quick buck.
