Misleading online platform
Dear Spec-Savers Team,
I hope this email finds you well.
Firstly I booked an appointment, followed all the steps, then the prompt asked whether I want a sooner booking for my child and if I will pay the full eye test fee which I agreed cause his eyesight is so poor and he needs new glasses. A lady called me today to say that the eye test is for me and the child one is free, so I explained that is not what I booked. I screenshot the process and emailed them.
The online process is misleading.
I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding your online booking system. I have attempted to schedule an appointment for my 11-year-old son and have followed the full booking process online, as shown in the attached screenshots.
However, the system indicates that all branches are fully booked. What is particularly concerning is that when checking each day individually, every single date reflects as fully booked, and the system does not allow bookings beyond the displayed week. This makes it impossible to secure an appointment or even see future availability.
This experience has been both frustrating and confusing, as it raises the question of how every single day can be fully booked without any future booking options available.
Please could you urgently revert to me with:
An explanation regarding the availability reflected on your system.
The closest available appointment date for my son.
Your prompt assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards, Melissa Reddy
