Miserable day;Specsavers Port Alfred

Middle of October went to book an appointment; asked for a quote as well for tint because my medical aid does not cover tinting glasses; 04 Nov 2019 I go for my appointment; first am helped by a receptionist to select a frame; she tells me about their Summer Promo; you pay R200 and get prescribed shades and tint; Asked her if does this mean my tint for my glasses will be sorted; she said yes; she even asked me if I wanted black tint or brown on my glasses; 10 days later I go to fetch my glasses; am super excited I put them on go outside and I realise there's no tint; I go back to the store to ask wht happened; Same receptionist tells me but I said I didn't want tint; Told her I hv issues with sunrays and all my spectacles life I wear climate glasses;and on the optometrists notes Tint was there; then am told am supposed to pay for it; And I ask how because I was told the Summer Promotion would cover it;to cut the story short I now have to pay R1600 and something to have my glasses tinted; and its my word against the receptionist; and there's nothing they can do; its either I take those clear glasses or pay and because cnt live without glasses I have to pay!! So hurt and disappointed at this! First and last time am using them.regret not going to private optometrist as I used to with no hassles
