Lost in translation

I went for an eye test at vaal mall vanderbijl branch , I told told i need bi focal glasses as my eyes are in bad shape ,I paid R900.00 over and above the medical aid conrtribution although i had to choose form their cheaper white and red sticker frames, which is supposed to fall into the medical aid contribution . Both bi focal and free ( ha ha ) sunglasses frames is to small for my face . I understand perfectly that it takes up to 2 months to get used to bi focal glasses, but i have serious concerns . When reading or working on my PC i can feel strain on my right eye which i can live with . But the main problem is that i can see far away objects more clearly and the images is much more sharper with my normal eyes than with the bi focals , so what"s the use as i cant drive with them or with the sunglasses which is even worse as everything is blurry .Should have gone to clicks and bought myself a pair of R100.00 Reading glasses , would have save R4000.00 on my medical and R900.00 cash .
