Incorrect Information Provided
I am not happy with the service I have received today at Specsavers Century City. I went for my eye test in October 2020, where it was told that the glasses I chose on the day my medical aid would cover. I then went back to working from home and never got to complete the glasses based on the frame I chose. yes there was a promotion where I was advised that I could get a second pair of glasses free.
Today I went in chose the same frame and the ne assistant advised that the sale is still running and I would be able to get a second pair free. After choosing this the next consultant advised I would need to pay R900 for the frame I have selected, she hasn't even spoken to my medical aid and took me to the frames that according to her my medical aid covers.
I am appalled with the level of service I have been given after I already sat and waited for over 15min to be assisted and still received the incorrect information, still not getting what I initially went for. I am not a happy client. I decided to leave as everyone was given me the incorrect information and it looked as if the assistant didn't know what she was doing, she was assuming how much my medical aid covered. Feel this was just a money making scheme after they already billed my medical aid for the eye test last year.
Thank you for bringing your matter to our attention. We have sent everything through to a Spec-Savers representative to step in and attend to your unfortunate experience with Spec-Savers Canal Walk.
Warmest regards
