Incompetence Deluxe

In February this year I was involved in an accident, and lost my spectacles. Once I had recovered sufficiently from my injuries, I made an appointment at Spec Savers in the Weskus Mall in Vredenburg, which was on the 8th of March. After 2 weeks I received a call letting me know that my new specs had arrived. I went to collect them the next day, but the right lense was way out of focus. The optician was not there, so I had to return the next week. He told me that the manufacturer had made a mistake, but would sort it out in a couple of days. More than a week later, I was told that the lense had arrived, so I went back, and he fitted the new lense, but there was no improvement. He said that the lense was correct, and I would get used to it, and a whole lot of other excuses. Another week went by, and nothing had changed, so I went back again, but he was once again not there. The lady at reception managed to get me an appointment at the other Spec Savers in Vredenburg CBD. My eyes were retested, and the script for the right lense was found to be incorrect. Today I received a call from the optician in the mall, saying that I would have to take my specs back to him, and it would take another 2 weeks to rectify. I told him that I could not be without glasses for that long, and all he said was "thanks", very abruptly, and put the phone down. I live 25km from the mall, I have driven there and back 6 times now, so I want a refund, and compensation for all the unnecessary travelling.
