Incompetence!
So I went for my eye test on January 5th. I asked is the sales person could check whether the medical aid would approve of the glasses before going ahead with them. After a week I phoned back and he hadn't even sent the glasses to be made yet. Then assuming it would be another 7-10 days I waited and waited and waited. Only to phone and find out that they are 'shipping in' the glass for my lenses... From outer space I assume. When I Eventually got to fetch my glasses, there was something wrong with the left lense and yet again had my eyes retested and they were sent back to be remade (this happened to me two years ago when I had my previous set made also...) so today when I went back to fetch them - low and behold, there is ANOTHER scratch, on the SAME lens, in the SAME place as before... So they are being sent BACK to the lab, yet AGAIN! so Spec-Savers has gladly accepted my R3800 (because they phoned me 2 weeks ago to say the medical aid wouldn't pay - when I specifically asked them to find out if it would be covered or not...) and I am STILL without my glasses that I order on the 5th Jan. Way to go Spec - Savers... Once I finally have specs I can see properly through... You will NEVER see me or any of my family again!!!

26 Mar 2019, 17:03I was told at the store that it takes 7-10 days. May I suggest, properly training your employees then... This is at Tygervalley branch. Lance Hill has always been very kind, understanding and thorough, but wherever your labs are for this store - the workmanship is terrible. I'll not be using Specs Savers again.
