Horrible Inhumane Service!!!
SpecSavers Fourways Crossing!!! Disappointing but not surprising really.
I called in to check on my lenses that I had ordered last week and which were put through my Medical Aid. I was told they were ready for collection I went in to collect around half 4 was told that I needed to pay about R300 because my medical aid did not cover everything!! I didn't understand how do you proceed and order the lenses without checking with the customer first if they are comfortable with paying cash+??
I explain to the consultant helping that no one told me about a payment I need to make and worse I do not have a budget for it now. I had just came back to see an ophthalmologist who I had to pay cash for. I explained to them that I can make a payment before the end of the week.
And I was told that they can't give them to me because I'm short.
I was turned back because I didn't have R300 which no one told me about paying. The so called optometrist told me confidently that he will not give me the lenses because they need to be paid for.
I understand the business needs to run, but how do you excuse letting a client go without their "sight" because you didn't tell them about a fee that needs to be paid?
This is after I have spent more than R1500 with them????? Really? The level of pettiness?
Where is the customer service in that?
I am not even seeking an apology just learn humanity!!!
