Horrible experience from Specsavers Canterbury

I always use torga optical for my glasses but decided to use spec savers this time. My experience with them has been an absolute nightmare. More than I month ago I went to get new glasses. They did a test and I provided them with two frames. Two weeks later I got a message that the glasses were ready but to my utter disappointment found that my prescription was entirely wrong. I was told to come a few days later for a retest during which the optometrist confirmed that the prescription they had used for the glasses was much weaker than my actual prescription. They sent off my glasses to be redone and two weeks later I am told that one pair is back while the other is still being worked on. If these glasses were done at the same time then why do I still need to wait days before getting my second pair?? In over 15 years I have never had an optometrist get my prescription wrong. It has now been over 5 weeks since I first went to spec savers for the very first time and I still do not have my glasses. To say I regret doing business with them would be an absolute understatement. Never again!
