Hidden costs not advertised on posters

You heard the expression . . . There is no such thing as a free lunch, you pay for it in some way. This applies to Specsavers. They offer "free" sunglasses when you have eye test and prescription glasses. What they don't tell you is you must pay compulsory extra R400 for "scratch proofing" of lens. For years I have been going to my trusted Optometrist. He offers no extras (sunglasses), but medical aid pays for the test and prescription glasses IN FULL. No extra charges. Specsavers, please advertise on your fancy special posters that there are compulsory hidden costs.
