Feeling cheated

<p>I ordered glasses and contacts from the cavendish branch and my subsequent eye test revealed that my prescription had worsened from -4.50 to -4.75. </p> <p>The optometrist prescribed me with -4.25 contact lenses and told me that it is my fault for not having noticed that the prescription was wrong and that I should have used the trial pair for two weeks. </p> <p>I specifically asked him before paying if the contact lenses prescription was the new one before taking my glasses and contacts. He said yes and busied himself with something else.</p> <p>i went on holiday and came back to a new job so was too busy to approach it before now.</p> <p>i returned the remaining two pairs in the box today only to be told that my prescription on the lenses is not wrong as they use a scientific formula to deduce it. Also, I was compensated with two trial pairs of lenses after giving them back the two pairs of acuvue in the box.</p> <p> </p> <p>terrible attitude from optometrist. And I am certain he is blatantly lying about my contact prescription being correct. The lenses are too weak, I have been wearing contacts since I was 10 years old, I know the difference.</p>
