False statements

Last year october My parents went to the spec savers in eastrand mall practice no ***.

Testing was done and a reading lens was ordered, my parent know that their medical insurance only cover/ed for the testing which is R499 at specsavers. They came with a frame and only required reading lenses.

They were told that it was going to cost R1959 , and they paid a deposit of R 1000 . The lens arrived and the balance was paid . On testing the lens it was completely wrong and they left the lens and waited for the correct one . The correct one arrived and it was collected.

It is now September of 23 and specsavers eastrand mall claims my parents owe them R1465 , the reasoning is medical aid refused to pay. Yes the medical aid won't pay hence the parents paid cash.

The R1465 is an extra charge that was not communicated to my parents and now they are being haunted by a debt that they do not understand. There is no clarity or truth to this debt .

Reading lenses without a frame cannot be -+R3500 .

Spec savers please address your business unit in eastrand mall , my parents will not pay this bill.
