Expired trials & and conflicting prescriptions
Hi I want to express my utter disappointment and dissatisfaction with Specsavers.
On 15 Feb 2022 i went to Specsavers just down the road in Gordon's bay (instead of my usual optometrist which is further away in Somerset West) with the intention to maybe move to Specsavers permanently. However, after my eye test, i asked for the test results to be printed. A month later this week i went to pick up the trial pair and after inserting and wearing for it a day and half, the discomfort caused me to look at the contact lens containers and prescription again. Upon closer inspection I noticed that instead of both pairs being Biofinity for my super sensitive eyes, the right eye was Proclear with the prescription not the same as the prescription page that was printed out and given to me. The left eye container had no brand name AND EXPRIRED IN 2020!!! Also with the prescription on the container not the same as the prescription page.
Whats the point of the trials if it does not reflect what you should be wearing??? And to top it all, issueing lenses that expired 2 years ago???
This is TOTALLY AND UTTERLY UNACCEPTABLE !!!
