Dont go to Spec-Savers

I had my eyes tested at Spec-Savers in Vredenburg Mall. The staff were friendly and helpful during the eye test. However, when I went to collect my glasses, they simply handed them to me without asking me to try them on or checking if the fit and prescription were correct.

After about two months, I began to notice that my vision was still not clear. I decided to visit a different optometrist for a second opinion. They confirmed that the prescription was technically correct, but when they examined the glasses, they found that the focal point was not aligned properly. This misalignment explained why I wasn’t seeing clearly.

Unfortunately, this meant I had to spend more money to get a new pair of glasses from the second optometrist. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, and I will definitely not be returning to Spec-Savers.
