Disappointed with Appointment Booking System and Service

I’ve been a loyal customer at Specsavers for the past four years, bringing my son for regular eye check-ups. His vision in one eye is only 10%, and the optometrist recommended yearly follow-ups to monitor any potential improvement. Until now, I have never had any issues with the service, and the staff at the Tygervalley branch, where we have always visited, have been wonderful.

However, my experience recently has been extremely frustrating. Since December, I’ve been trying daily to book an appointment through the new online system, but there has not been a single available slot at any branch. This is especially concerning as my son’s condition requires regular check-ups, and the Tygervalley branch is fami**** with his history. The new online booking system is clearly not accommodating, and despite checking multiple times a day, I have been unable to secure an appointment.

I find it unacceptable that not one branch seems to have availability, and I’m left feeling helpless as my son’s eye care is being delayed. I strongly urge Specsavers to address this issue and provide a better solution for booking appointments, particularly for patients with urgent or ongoing medical needs. This experience has been a real disappointment after years of positive service.
