Delayed prescription glasses after false promises and lies

I have been to Spec savers SA a few times in my life, however my recent visit to Spec savers in Fourways Crossing was quite unpleasant. I Booked an eye test appointment for the 18 of Jan 2023. I went in, got tested and ordered prescription glasses (with my own frame). I got invoiced a hefty R3470.

Two weeks later, I still don’t have my glasses, I have called and even went as far as to visit the branch, I was told lies on a number of occasions. The first lie was that the order will be processed sooner, well it wasn’t. Secondly, one of the opticians (admin) told me that I could expect my glasses to arrive on the 27th of Jan 2023, my visit to the branch proved my theory, all false hope . I am being inconvenienced over something so expensive yet I haven’t received . This is absolutely unacceptable.

It’s the 1st of February 2023, and guess what, still no glasses coupled with ************* opticians /receptions. Please seek other eye care facilities as this is definitely not it!
