CAN'T SEE CLEARLY WITH NEW SPECTACLES
I had an eye test at Spec-Savers Northgate and I was informed that I would need two pairs of spectacles, one for reading and one for distance (driving). I collected the spectacles and was informed that me eyes would need to adjust to wearing the glasses. As this is the first time I have ever needed glasses, I was unsure how long it would take my eyes to adjust. I could not see clearly with either pair of glasses and thought perhaps that maybe my eyes need more time to adjust or maybe it was because I work on a computer all day and my eyes were strained. Having never worn glasses before, I was unsure what time period is needed in order to adjust to the spectacles. Hence, I did not return the glasses to Spec-Savers which I should have done at the time. As I was concerned that my eyes were deteriorating I decided to have another eye test done by a private optometrist who informed me that the script on both pairs of my spectacles from Spec-Savers was in fact incorrect and hence the reason why my vision was blurred. I spent over R3000.00 at Spec-Savers on frames and lenses etc and I feel that I have wasted my money and received *********** service from them.
