Blinded by Specsavers

To whom it may concern

I have a friend who went to spec savers to get his eyes tested last year round about November. He was diagnoses with having cataracts and given glasses, as a temporary alternative. He was informed that his eyes would deteriorate, after a certain time, but would probably receive treatment in time as they would write a referral letters to the relevant clinics. I have written numerous e-mails to ask them for those referral letters in order to follow up with the clinics, but am getting NO response from them. This is somebody who is moving around across roads not able to see much and clearly going blind. I would have thought that a company specializing in the eye -field would compassionately SEE that this is not only a serious, but life threatening situation and would try to help this man in getting the help that he needs. My problem is that I cant even get ONE email from them in order for ME to be able to HELP him.

Please Advise!!!
