Been awaiting appointment booking until now

I am very disappointed as I have been trying to get my son tested so that he can get glasses. We made an appointment back in March and were given a date for June. My mom and my son were like 10 minutes late and told their appointment has been canceled. They were given a date for August the 17th I booked leave and my son missed out from attending school. We got these 30 minutes before the time only to be told that the doctor will not be coming he called in sick. The ladies at reception took our numbers and said we will receive calls giving us appointments for the following week. We are waiting for that call until today.
