Bad service, no follow up

I recently went to visit Specsavers in Brackenfell which I first researched to see if its contracted under my medical aid. They couldnt verify my benefits as it was on a Saturday but they stil went ahead and did the eye test. Monday thereafter I got a call to say my medical aid does not cover anything as it was not contracted under my medical aid. They told me I had to pay out of pocket for the eye test which is about R490 and i told dem I will not be able to proceed with the glasses I will see to it that I pay the R490. I went to another optometrist a few days later and when they phoned for authorisation they were told the eye test was already claimed. I immediately phoned Specsavers and was told my glasses is out of pocket, same story. When I asked them why did they claim for the eye test but is not willing to do my glasses I was told I will get a callback. I phoned back after not receiving the promised call and was told again they are busy with my file they will phone me not me phoning them. Till this day I have not received any phone call from them and I had to incure extra cost for an test at another optometrist and yet Specsavers claimed without letting me know. I am disgusted ny their service as I always thought they were a reputable company. And this after I was recommended......
