Bad customer service by Sindi

Bad customer service I received from a salesperson at Spec-Saver Eastgate branch, the lady who had assisted me is Sindi, I usually take my glasses with them because of the summer promotion that they have.

The last visit was on the 14th of February 2026 and the doctor confirm that my script is still the same and she will mirror what I had prior, today I receive a text that my glasses are ready for collection and when I got there I'm told I did not opt for the summer promotion, the lady bluntly said I never said I wanted the promo, in fact she went on to say 'if you had opted for the summer promo how come you did not select the second frame?' and my response was that the doctor said she will mirror what I had previously......and consultant said your medical aid did not have the promo deals and my frustration is that I was never advised of my options.

The real reason I deal with Spec-Saver it's because of the summer deal, the lady went on to say we can get the CCTV footage to prove that I had advised you of the special. I have never been so frustrated in my entire life, I really loved the promo that Spec-Saver has and it's the only reason I went there for the second time, I'm so disappointed by the service I received from that lady.

Even when I was done talking to her she kept complaining to her colleagues about customers who 'lies' ...meaning I am that customer, I will never go back to Spec-Saver Eastgate because of her service
