Bad attitude and service - Carnival Mall
My husband went to Spec Savers Carnival Mall to enquire about an eye test for his drivers license yesterday. Seeying that the process changed for booking a license renewal it was quite sudden. We thought that there might be a chance that they could assist us. We went in on a Sunday morning early. There was one customer in the store. We enquired with the receptionist if it was possible. She asked the lady that worked there that does the bookings if they could assist. She was ignored and had to ask again. Which we got a really bad attitude and answer no we are busy - make an appointment. The optometrist was standing right next to her and he allows the staff to speak to customers like that. I fully understand that it was a chance we took but the attitude received was really not necessary. We went next door to the shop and saw how the staff walks around and went to the shops when we left and there was no customers. Clearly their shopping or "rest day" was more important. We have spend many years a customer and spent thousands of rands there. Clearly our business is not needed and will go to the other optometrist in the mall rather which will at least listen to the customer when they ask a simple question.
